Eligibility Criteria for UPCATET 2025

General Requirements

• Only candidates who are domiciles of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

For Undergraduate (UG) Courses

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with relevant subject combinations based on the course applied for.

Age Limit:

• For most UG courses: 16 to 22 years as on December 31, 2025.
• For B.V.Sc & A.H. course: 17 to 25 years as on December 31, 2025.
• Relaxation: 5 years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.

For Postgraduate (PG) Courses

Educational Qualification:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

• No minimum or maximum age limit for PG programs.

For Ph.D. Courses

Educational Qualification:

• Must have a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline.

Age Limit:

• No age restriction for Ph.D. programs.

Documents Required for UPCATET 2025 Application

1. Recent Passport Size Photograph
   • Clear, colored, and recent photograph (as per the given format)
2. Signature of the Candidate
   • Scanned signature in black ink on white paper
3. High School (10th) Marksheet & Certificate
   • Proof of Date of Birth and educational qualification
4. Intermediate (12th) Marksheet & Certificate
   • For UG course applicants
5. Graduation Marksheet & Degree Certificate
   • For PG course applicants
6. Postgraduation Marksheet & Degree Certificate
   • For Ph.D. course applicants
7. Category Certificate (if applicable)
   • For SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates issued by a competent authority
8. Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh
   • Mandatory for all applicants
9. Income Certificate (for EWS or category benefit, if applicable)
10. Photo ID Proof
    • Aadhar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, or any government-issued ID
11. PwD Certificate (if applicable)
    • For physically challenged candidates
12. UPCATET 2025 Application Fee Payment Receipt
    • As proof of successful fee submission
