The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to Class VI and Class IX in Sainik Schools and approved New Sainik Schools across India. Sainik Schools are residential institutions affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and prepare students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other military careers.

Age Limit

For Class VI Admission:

  • Candidate must be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025.
  • Date of Birth Range: April 1, 2013 – March 31, 2015 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Girls are also eligible for admission to Class VI.

For Class IX Admission:

  • Candidate must be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025.
  • Date of Birth Range: April 1, 2010 – March 31, 2012 (Both dates inclusive).
  • The student must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school.
  • Only boys are eligible for Class IX admission.

Eligibility

The All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is scheduled for April 5, 2025.

This examination facilitates admissions into Class VI and Class IX across Sainik Schools in India, which are English medium residential institutions affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

For Class VI Admission:

 Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years old as of March 31, 2025.
  • Date of Birth Range: April 1, 2013 – March 31, 2015 (Both dates inclusive).

 Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must have completed or be studying in Class V at a recognized school.

Gender Eligibility:

  • Both boys and girls are eligible for admission to Class VI.

For Class IX Admission:

 Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 13 and 15 years old as of March 31, 2025.
  • Date of Birth Range: April 1, 2010 – March 31, 2012 (Both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must have passed or be studying in Class VIII at a recognized school at the time of admission.

Gender Eligibility:

  • Only boys are eligible for admission to Class IX.

 

 

All India Sainik School Exam 2025 How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to aissee.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Register Online

  1. Click on the "AISSEE 2025 Registration" link.
  2. Enter your details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
  3. Create a password and complete the registration process.
  4. An application number will be generated—note it down for future use.

Step 3: Fill Out the Application Form

  1. Log in using your application number and password.
  2. Enter your personal, academic, and communication details.
  3. Select the Sainik School and exam center preferences.
  4. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required documents (as per specifications).

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

  • General/Defence/OBC(NCL): ₹650
  • SC/ST: ₹500
  • Payment can be made via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Step 5: Submit & Download Confirmation Page

  1. Review all the details carefully before submission.
  2. Click Submit and download the confirmation page.
  3. Print the confirmation page for reference.

·  Mode: Offline (OMR-based)

·  Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

·  Answer Marking: Candidates must fill the correct answers on an OMR sheet using a blue/black ballpoint pen.

·  Medium of Exam:

  • Class VI: Available in English, Hindi, and regional languages.
