· The applicant must be a resident of Bihar.
Farmers who own land, cultivate leased land, or sharecroppers are all eligible.
The farmer must be registered on the Bihar Agriculture Department's DBT portal.

Key Features & Benefits:
For Crop Loss Up to 20%:
- If actual crop yield falls up to 20% below the threshold yield (pre-determined average yield), the farmer receives ₹7,500 per hectare (up to a maximum of 2 hectares), totaling ₹15,000.
· For Crop Loss Above 20%:
- If the yield is more than 20% below the threshold, the farmer receives ₹10,000 per hectare, up to 2 hectares, totaling ₹20,000.
