How to Apply for Udyam Aadhaar Online
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to the Udyam Registration Portal at https://udyamregistration.gov.in. This is the official website of the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.
Step 2: Enter Aadhaar Details
- Click on "For New Entrepreneurs who are not registered yet as MSME".
- Enter the Aadhaar Number of the business owner.
- Type the Name of the Entrepreneur as per Aadhaar.
- Click on the Validate & Generate OTP button.
- You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
- Enter the OTP to verify your Aadhaar details.
Step 3: Fill in Business Details
- Enterprise Name – Enter the name of your business.
- Type of Organization – Select the appropriate business type (Proprietorship, Partnership, Pvt Ltd, LLP, etc.).
- PAN Card Details – If your business turnover is above ₹10 lakh, enter your PAN details.
- Business Address – Provide the complete postal address, state, district, and pin code.
- Email & Mobile Number – Enter your working email ID and contact number.
Step 4: Provide Business Activity Details
- Select the Major Business Activity – Choose whether your business is engaged in Manufacturing or Service.
- NIC Code – Select the appropriate National Industrial Classification (NIC) Code for your business activity.
- Investment in Plant & Machinery or Equipment – Provide details of how much you have invested.
- Annual Turnover – Mention your business turnover for the last financial year.
Step 5: Fill in Bank Details
- Enter the Bank Account Number linked to the business.
- Provide the IFSC Code of your bank branch.
Step 6: Submit the Application
- After filling in all the required details, review your application carefully.
- Click on the Submit & Get Final OTP button.
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Click on "Final Submit" to complete the registration.
Step 7: Receive the Udyam Aadhaar Certificate
- Once submitted, you will receive a Udyam Aadhaar Registration Number.
- The Udyam Aadhaar Certificate will be sent to your registered email.
- You can also download the certificate from the Udyam Registration Portal by entering your registration number.
