  • General / OBC / EWS (Male/Female): ₹2,000
  • SC / ST (Male/Female): ₹1,000
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹100
  • Note: Candidates who applied earlier against Advt. No. UoA/Asst. Prof/01/2023, Advt. No. UoA/Asso. Prof/01/2023, or Advt. No. UoA/Prof/01/2023, and where selections were not held, are exempted from the main fee but must pay a facilitation charge of ₹100.

Eligibility Criteria Allahabad University Teaching Recruitment 2025

For Assistant Professor Advt. No. UoA/Asst. Prof/01/2025:

  • A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must have cleared UGC-NET or CSIR-NET (or a similar test accredited by the UGC).
  • Ph.D. is not mandatory but will be preferred.
  • Relaxation of 5% marks is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD categories.

For Associate Professor Advt. No. UoA/Asso. Prof/01/2025:

  • A Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject is mandatory.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized university or institution.
  • At least 7 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

For Professor Advt. No. UoA/Prof/01/2025 :

  • A Ph.D. degree in the relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of teaching and research experience, including experience as an Associate Professor.
  • Must have published significant research work (minimum 10 publications), and guided at least one Ph.D. student.
