Eligibility for BPSC Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) 2025
1. Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Preference may be given to candidates with background in Education / Social Sciences / Administration (as per detailed notification).
2. Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age:
- General (Male): 37 years
- General (Female), BC, EBC: 40 years
- SC / ST (Male & Female): 42 years
3. Nationality
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Domicile of Bihar candidates get reservation benefits.

Documents Required for BPSC AEDO 2025
At the Time of Online Application
- Live Photograph – Captured directly by webcam / mobile camera during form filling (no upload option).
- Signature (Scanned & Uploaded)
- In Hindi (Devanagari script).
- In English (running handwriting).
- Must be scanned from white paper with black/blue ink pen.
- Upload as per prescribed size & format.
At the Time of Document Verification / Interview
(to be carried in original + self-attested photocopy)
- Educational Certificates
- Postgraduate degree certificate & mark sheet (Chemistry / Life Science / Environmental Science / Physics).
- Bachelor’s degree certificate (if applicable).
- Identity Proof (any one, valid and original)
- Aadhaar Card (preferred – avoids extra biometric fee)
- OR Voter ID / PAN / Passport / Driving License.
- Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/EBC/BC candidates of Bihar).
- EWS Certificate (if applicable).
- Domicile Certificate (for candidates claiming Bihar reservation).
- PwD Certificate (if applicable – issued by a recognized medical authority).
- Application Form Printout (final submitted form from BPSC portal).
- Fee Receipt / Payment Proof (downloaded from portal after successful fee payment).
- Biometric Verification Proof (if Aadhaar not used, additional ₹200 fee applies)

BPSC OTR (One Time Registration) Process 2025
Step 1: Visit the Official Portal
- Open 👉 https://onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on “One Time Registration (OTR)”.
Step 2: New Registration
- Click on “New Registration”.
- Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number (if available).
- Create a strong password.
- Verify with OTP sent to your mobile and email.
Step 3: Fill Personal Details
- Enter your Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Category, Marital Status, Address, Nationality.
- Enter Identification Details (like Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, etc.).
Step 4: Upload Documents
- Upload Scanned Passport Size Photo (JPG, 20–50 KB).
- Upload Scanned Signature (JPG, 10–20 KB).
- Ensure clarity and proper dimensions.
Step 5: Create OTR Profile
- Review all details carefully.
- Submit and generate your Permanent OTR Number (Registration ID).
Step 6: Use OTR ID for Application
- Once OTR is done, log in with your OTR ID & password.
- Go to “Active Applications” → Select AEDO Recruitment 2025 (Advt. No. 87/2025).
- Fill the AEDO form using your saved OTR details (you only need to add post-specific details like category certificate, fee payment, etc.).
