Eligibility Criteria – IB JIO Grade II (Technical) 2025

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 27 years
• Age Relaxation (as per Govt. rules):
  • SC / ST: +5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 years
  • PwBD: +10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PwBD)
  • Ex-Servicemen: as per Govt. of India guidelines

Educational Qualification

Any one of the following is required:

1. Diploma in Engineering (in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Applications) – from a recognized university/institute.

OR

2. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree – in Electronics / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics.

OR

3. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).

Physical Standards

• Not specifically prescribed for this recruitment (unlike ACIO/other security posts). However, candidates should be mentally and physically fit for field assignments.

Other Requirements

• Valid ID Proof (Aadhaar / PAN / Voter ID).
• Candidates must meet all eligibility criteria as on the closing date of application (14 Sept 2025).

• Click on “New Registration”.
• Fill in your basic details like:
  • Full Name (as per 10th certificate)
  • Mobile Number
  • Email ID
  • Date of Birth
  • Aadhaar or valid ID proof details
• You will get a Registration ID & Password on your email and mobile.

Step 3: Login and Fill the Application Form

• Login using your Registration ID & Password.
• Fill in the required details:
  • Personal Information (Name, Gender, Category, Nationality).
  • Educational Qualification (Diploma / B.Sc. / BCA details).
  • Address and Communication Details.
  • Exam Centre preference.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Upload scanned copies of:

• Recent Passport-size Photograph (in JPG format, as per size instructions).
• Signature (scanned, JPG format).
• Educational Certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation/Diploma).
• Category/Reservation Certificate (if applicable).

(Tip: Make sure all documents are clear, readable, and within the size limit mentioned in the notification.)

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹450/-
• SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen: ₹50/-
• Payment can be made via:
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Net Banking
  • UPI
  • Offline (SBI challan, last date: 16 Sept 2025)

Step 6: Review and Submit

• Double-check all details carefully before final submission.

• Once submitted, you cannot make corrections.
