· Detailed Notification Release: Expected by April 9, 2025.

· Online Application Start Date: April 10, 2025. ​

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Matriculation/SSLC certificate along with an ITI qualification from recognized institutions in the relevant trades.
  •  Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering are also eligible to apply.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

CBT 1:

  • Mode: Online (Objective)
  • Subjects: Maths, Reasoning, Science, General Awareness
  • Duration: 60 min | 75 Questions
  • Qualifying Nature (not counted in final merit)

 CBT 2:

  • Mode: Online (Objective)
  • Part A: Technical + General subjects → 90 min | 100 Questions
  • Part B: Trade-specific → 60 min | 75 Questions
  • Weightage: Part A marks counted in final merit

CBAT: (For ALP candidates only)

  • Mode: Online (Aptitude test)
  • Weightage: 30% in final merit

Document Verification & Medical Test:

  • Verification: Original documents checked
  • Medical Test: Fitness & vision standards verified

 Final Selection:

  • 70% from CBT 2 Part A + 30% from CBAT (for ALP posts)
  • Candidates must pass the medical test to qualify.
