Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).
- Age Limit for JRF: Maximum 31 years (relaxation applicable).
- No age limit for Assistant Professor.

For Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):
- Maximum Age: 31 years as of the first day of the month in which the examination is concluded (i.e., June 1, 2025).
- Relaxation:
- OBC-NCL / SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender / Women candidates: Relaxation of up to 5 years, i.e., up to 36 years.
- Candidates with research experience, LLM degree holders, or those who have served in the armed forces may also get additional age relaxation as per government norms.
