What Has Changed?

• Previously, no login was required to view deed info.
• Now, to access any new land registry, you must sign up and log in to the new official portal.
• This step has been taken to increase security and transparency in land records.

What Info Can You Check?

You can find the following details:

• Land registry (deed) number
• Buyer and seller names
• Plot details like Khata number and Khesra number
• Registration office and document date
• Ownership and transaction history (for new registrations)

• Older registry data (before 2025) might still be available on

• But for all new land registrations, only the new portal

  should be used
• Without logging in, you cannot access new deed information

Step-by-Step Guide to Check Bihar Land Registry and Apply for Certified Copy

🔹 Step 1: Go to the Login Page

• Visit the homepage of the e-Nibandhan portal.
• On the top right corner, click on "LOGIN".
• Then select "Citizen Login"

🔹 Step 2: Login or Sign Up

• You will see the Citizen Login Page.
• If you're a new user, click on “New User Please SignUp here”
• Sign up using your mobile number, name, and set a password.
• If you're already registered, log in using your username/email/phone number and password.

🔹 Step 3: Open the Dashboard

• After successful login, your Citizen Dashboard will appear.
• Click on “Certified Copy” in the left menu.
• Then click on “Create Request”

🔹 Step 4: Start New Request

• In the new page, click the “New Request” button on the right side.

🔹 Step 5: Select Certified Copy Type

• In the drop-down, select “Registered Document” from the list

🔹 Step 6: Fill Document Details

• Select the following:
  • District
  • Registration Office
  • Year of Registration
  • Book Type (Book-1 is commonly used)
  • Registered Document Number
• If you don't know the document number, click on “Find Registered Document No. by Advance Search”

🔹 Step 7: Use Advance Search (if needed)

If you clicked on “Find Registered Document No. by Advance Search”, then fill:

• District, Registration Office, Circle
• Village/Thana/Ward No.
• Date Range
• Optional: Khata number, Plot number, Land type, Party name, etc.

🔍 Step 8: Fill Advanced Search Details

Fill these required fields:

• District: Gopalganj
• Registration Office: Phulwaria
• Circle: Kateya (Phulwaria)
• Village/Thana/Ward No.: Bagahi Dih
• Date Range: 01/06/2025 to 30/06/2025

(You may leave other fields empty for a broad search.)

✅ Then click the "Search" button.

📄 Step 4: View the Matching Records

After search:

• A list of documents matching the criteria appears.
• Click on the “View Details” button to see full deed details.
