Tier-I: Computer Based Test (CBT)

(For all posts – STA-B & Technician-A)

• Objective type (MCQs)
• Conducted online
• Questions from:
  • General Awareness
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Numerical Ability
  • English Language
  • Basic Science / Trade-related knowledge
• Qualifying nature only
• Marks of Tier-I are NOT counted in final merit
• Candidates are shortlisted for Tier-II based on Tier-I performance

2️⃣ Tier-II Examination / Test

🔹 For Senior Technical Assistant-B (STA-B)

• Tier-II Computer Based Test (CBT)
• Questions strictly from relevant subject / discipline
• Objective type questions
• Marks of Tier-II are counted for final merit

🔹 For Technician-A (Tech-A)

• Trade / Skill Test
• Practical test related to ITI trade
• Qualifying in nature
• Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks

3️⃣ Document Verification

• Conducted for candidates who qualify Tier-II
• Verification of:
  • Educational certificates
  • ITI / Diploma / Degree certificates
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • PwBD / Ex-Servicemen certificates (if applicable)
  • Photo ID proof

Failure to produce valid documents will lead to disqualification.
