RRB Isolated Category Recruitment 2026: Mode Of selection
- Computer‑Based Test (CBT) – I
- All applicants must appear in this first online objective exam.
- It tests general awareness, reasoning, numerical ability, domain knowledge, etc.
- Computer‑Based Test (CBT) – II
- A second online test for those who qualify in CBT‑I.
- This may focus more on post‑specific knowledge and skills depending on the job applied for.
- Skill Test / Practical Test (If Applicable)
- Certain posts (like Junior Translator/other isolated roles) may require a skill test, translation test, or performance assessment relevant to the job.
- Document Verification (DV)
- Candidates who clear the written/skill stages will be called for verification of certificates (education, age, caste/PwBD status, etc.).
- Medical Examination
