• Age Criteria
  • Group C (Clerk/Librarian): 20–40 years
  • Group D: 18–40 years
  • Relaxations → SC/ST: +5 yrs, OBC: +3 yrs, PwD: +10 yrs
• Education Required
  • Clerk → Must have passed Madhyamik (10th)
  • Librarian → Graduate (BA/BSc/BCom)
  • Group D Staff → Minimum Class VIII pass
• Other Conditions
  • Must be an Indian Citizen
  • Should meet character, health & verification standards as per WBSSC rules

Documents Required for WBSSC Group C & D (Non-Teaching) Recruitment 2025

While Filling the Online Form (Upload Scanned Copies)

• Recent passport-size photograph (as per size/format)

• Madhyamik (10th) / Class VIII / Graduation certificates (depending on post)

WBSSC Group C & D Selection Process 2025

 For Group C (Clerk / Librarian etc.)

1. Written Examination (OMR Based) –
   • Objective-type questions on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Arithmetic, English, etc.
2. Typing/Skill Test (only for Clerk & posts requiring computer skills)
3. Interview / Personality Test – Shortlisted candidates from written + skill test will face interview.
4. Document Verification – Final stage, candidates must produce original certificates.

For Group D (Peon, Laboratory Attendant, etc.)

1. Written Examination (OMR Based) –
   • Questions on General Knowledge, Arithmetic, Current Affairs, Language.
2. Interview / Personality Test – Basic oral test to assess suitability.
3. Document Verification – Verification of eligibility, certificates, and category documents.
